The end of a first date can often feel like the conclusion of a job interview. After all, you have no clear idea of how it really went until a few days afterwards. Even if you think it went well, it’s only when you receive a reply from the interviewer, or your date gets in touch that you can be certain. That assumes, of course, that you ever get a response at all.
